F2 Releases the First Chapter of ‘Deep Dive: The Psychological Playbook for VCs and Startups’
F2 Venture Capital and Vintage Investment Partners joined forces to create the first-of-its-kind Playbook that aims to transform the way VCs conduct due diligence with regards to startup teams and founder dynamics. Written by Noa Matz, F2 Venture Capital’s startup psychologist and Ben Tytonovich, a Principal at Vintage Investment Partners, the playbook address the evasive task of evaluating founding teams in a way that bypasses the common intuition-driven approach and replaces it with methodological steps and a practical guide to analyze both founder and team personality .
The first chapter, released this month, focuses on ‘Founder Personality,’ establishing what is the ideal resilient founder and key indicators for their detection.

Vanti Analytics Raises $4.5 Million Seed Round for Manufacturing AI
Vanti Analytics, a Junction alumni company, raised a $4.5 million seed round, bringing their funding to a total of $6 million to date. The company provides automated machine learning (AutoML) products designed to help manufacturers without data science backgrounds optimize the production line while maintaining high quality standards. This newest round will enable Vanti Analytics to continue realizing its wide market potential.

Salesforce invests in Israel’s AppsFlyer at $2 billion valuation
Another Junction alumnus, AppsFlyer, is receiving an undisclosed investment from Salesforce as part of its series D round valued at $210 million. The round, announced back in January, was led by the American investment firm General Atlantic. AppyFlyer developed a tool that analyzes and measures digital campaigns. It serves over 12,000 customers and is partnered with over 8,000 companies.
